## Who we are

This website is operated by Horizon Zones International Inc. ("we", "us"), a design and digital studio based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. For any privacy question or request, email info@horizonzones.com.

## What this website collects

You can browse this website without creating an account or giving us any personal information. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels, and we do not set cookies.

Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages automatically receive basic technical information with each request: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. Our hosting provider processes this information to deliver the site and keep it secure.

## The project enquiry form

When you press "Send Message", the details you enter (your name, email address, and any company, website, service interest and message you add) are sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our website server, hosted by Hostinger. The server emails them to our inbox at info@horizonzones.com and does not keep a copy on the website. From then on, we handle them as described in "When you email us" below.

To block spam, the server keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for up to one hour, which limits how many messages can be sent in a short time. It is then deleted.

## When you email us

If you email us, we receive your name, email address and anything you include in your message, such as your company name and project details. We use this information to:

- reply to your enquiry and discuss your project;
- prepare proposals and provide services you ask for; and
- keep business records and meet our legal obligations.

We keep correspondence only as long as we need it for these purposes. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

## Third-party services

- **Hosting.** The site is hosted by Hostinger, which processes the technical request information described above and delivers enquiry form messages to our inbox.
- **External links.** Our Instagram link takes you to Instagram when you choose to follow it. Instagram is a separate service with its own privacy practices; this website does not embed an Instagram feed or social media tracking pixel.
- **Email.** Messages you send us are stored by our email service provider.

These providers may process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of other countries.

## Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the service providers above, as needed to run our business, or where the law requires it.

## Your choices and rights

Under Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our using it. Email info@horizonzones.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

## Security

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

## Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
